ASABRI Mobile Backend & Core Services

Overview

Engineered the backend architecture and boilerplate infrastructure for ASABRI Mobile using Fastify, establishing a decoupled architecture separating the Mobile API Gateway from internal Core Services.

Project Context

PT ASABRI (Persero) required a high-performance backend to interface Flutter mobile clients with enterprise legacy MSSQL databases while preserving data integrity and connection stability.

What I Worked On

• Engineered the architecture and foundation boilerplates for Mobile Backend and Core Service using Fastify.
• Architected a decoupled infrastructure: Mobile Backend acts as an API bridge for Flutter applications, while the dedicated Core Service securely interfaces the Backend/CMS with critical enterprise MSSQL databases.
• Executed the entire backend structure efficiently using a Vibe Coding approach before conducting a complete handover to the internal engineering team.

Technical Challenges

• Isolating mobile application traffic through an API gateway while routing transactional logic to protected internal MSSQL databases.
• Ensuring zero downtime and seamless knowledge transfer during final handover to internal developers.

Implementation Details

• Constructed Clean Architecture services in Fastify, optimizing payload parsing and request routing.
• Implemented MongoDB collections for non-blocking telemetry and audit logs while preserving MSSQL for core financial records.
